Thanks to the 175 participants, speakers, and vendors who participated at the Get Involved! Pittsburgh Service Summit on April 22. The event featured amazing speakers including Chaz Kellem, Jeff Tobe, Senator John Pippy, Jim Lokay, Councilman Bill Peduto, Lisa Spahr, and Chuck Herring. Two expert panels also presented about Board Service and Non-Profit Leadership. Councilman Peduto led the effort to have April 22nd named as "Get Involved! Service Summit Day" in the City of Pittsburgh. The Service Summit also honored some of the best, brightest, and most passionate leaders in the region.  The event was held at the Union Project in Highland Park. The second annual Pittsburgh Service Summit will be held on January 26, 2011 at Carlow University.
