2010 Get Involved! Allderdice Student Leadership Award - Max Eichner

I presented a terrific high school senior, Max Eichner, with the Get Involved! Allderdice Student Leadership award and $200 scholarship on June 8, 2010 at my high school alma mater. It was great to get to know Max and his family at the Awards Convocation event. Max was a standout athlete, student, and leader within several organizations during his years at Allderdice. He will be attending the University of Maryland this fall.

2010 Get Involved! SAHE Leadership Award- Shauna Sergent

Erin and I traveled back to my graduate school Alma Mater, Indiana University of PA, on May 7, 2010 to present the Get Involved! SAHE Leadership Award and $250 scholarship to a terrific student named Shauna Sergent. Shauna is the new President of the Associates for Student Development, which is a position I truly enjoyed holding during graduate school. Congrats to Shauna on all of her success and service.

2009 Get Involved! Student Leader Award- Meghan Peterson, Gateway High School

On Wednesday, May 13, 2009 I had the honor of presenting Meghan Peterson with the Get Involved! Student Leader Award at the 3rd Annual Teen Leadership Banquet in Monroeville. Meghan is a leader at Gateway High School and has planned several fundraising events for charities and also volunteers twice a week in the autism support classroom in her school.
